Registration FAQ
How can I receive information on upcoming Section events?
Call the Section office and request our Event Calendar (909) 481-7200, or
visit the Calendar.
Will the Section fax registration information?
Yes, call the Section office at (909) 481-7200 and ask for the registration
department. We will take your fax number and fax you expediently.
Does the Section accept fax registration?
Yes, fax registrations should include your credit card number (Visa or Mastercard
or American Express only) or, we will accept a physical purchase order and
send you an invoice.
Does the Section limit the number of people registering for an event?
No, the Section will accept registrations up to the capacity of the host
facility. If there is room for you, you may attend.
If I missed the pre-registration deadline on a specific workshop, is it to
late to register?
After the pre-registration deadline, registrations will be accepted at the
door of the event, on the day of the event. (The pre-registration deadline
is always provided on the registration form. The pre-registration deadline
is generally one to two weeks prior to the event).
Will I receive confirmation when I register for Section educational events?
Yes, if we receive your registration by the pre-registration deadline, we
will send a confirmation letter and payment information in the mail. If we
receive your registration after the pre-registration deadline, we will mail
or fax your confirmation upon request, only.
If my company is a member, do I qualify for member rates?
Employees of member utilities/organizations qualify for member rates at workshops
and conferences. Individual members also qualify for member rates.
What is your cancellation policy, can I get a refund?
Cancellation of a registration and request for refund must be made in writing,
subject to the following conditions:
1. Full refund of total fee paid (less $25 handling fee) for cancellations
received at the Section office on or before the pre-registration deadline.
2. Cancellations received after the pre-registration deadline, and before the
day of the event, receive a 70% refund. (Pre-registration deadlines are always
provided on the registration form. The pre-registration deadline is generally
one to two weeks prior to the event.)
3. No refunds will be granted on, or after, the day of the event. Cases involving
exceptional circumstances may be appealed to the Section's Registration Department.
Note: Pre-registration deadlines are given on all registration forms.
Does the Section accept purchase orders?
Yes, we will accept physical purchase orders and send you an invoice.
Does the Section accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept VISA, Mastercard, and American Express. In order for the Section
to be able to charge your card, you must include the name on the card, signature,
card number, expiration date and amount to be charged.
