The Engineering and Construction Committee is always searching for qualified and engaging speakers on pertinent topics related to the Engineering and Construction of water utility facilities. Please pass the word along to potential speakers who could add value at our conference programs.
Our charge:
The mission of the CA-NV AWWA Engineering and Construction Committee is to:
• Advance and disseminate knowledge of practices, equipment and materials related to the design, engineering, construction management, and construction of water utility facilities.
• Provide information about different project delivery methods and their applications.
• Promote the use of technology and innovative practices to help drive data driven decisions and improved engineering and construction techniques.
• Advocate sustainable and resilient engineering and construction practices in the water industry.
• Establish and maintain communications with appropriate technical and professional associations for the purpose of exchanging knowledge and information regarding water utility project engineering and construction issues.
• Support practices in engineering and construction that promote worker equity, diversity, and inclusion.
