| The purpose of this committee is to stimulate the adoption and use of practices,
methods and operations adequate to insure the water utilities are safe places of
employment. It is the function of the safety committee to get the safety message across to
all members of the California/Nevada Section in as many ways as possible. In addition, we
will recognize those in the industry who are doing an exceptional job in the safety field.
