Forest Resilience Bond (FRB) Workshop

Catastrophic wildfires leave terrible impacts on water quality and the natural water retention of a devastated watershed. On September 10, 2019 you are invited to a half-day workshop on actions – with favorable funding – agencies can take to mitigate fire risk in advance. Please join us as the California-Nevada Section of AWWA, with partners Blue Forest Conservation, World Resources Institute, and the Rural Communities Assistance Center (RCAC), host utilities with a stake in fire risk areas across northern California to learn more about how fire threatens their utility operations, gain insights into the Forest Resilience Bond funded projects, and explore how to take advantage of innovative financing and partnerships to protect your water sources.

Requests for refunds and transfers must be made in writing and are subject to the following conditions: Full refund of fee paid (minus 25% handling fee) will be issued for cancellations received more than 15 days prior to class start date. All fees are non-refundable thereafter. Transfers are based on availability. No transfer requests will be authorized if they are not received more than 15 days prior to class start date. A 100% refund or credit of your registration fee will be issued if a class is canceled by the Section.
