Description:
The Water Audit Validator course, based on AWWA Free Water Audit Software Version 56 is designed to qualify individuals to perform Level 1 water audit validations in California.  An exam will be offered following the class, proctored by CA-NV AWWA.  Water audit validators examine water loss audits inputs and supporting documents to verify that the correct methodology was used, to evaluate the selections made in the interactive data grading sheets, and to identify and document sources of uncertainty.  Per Senate Bill 555, urban retail water suppliers must submit validated distribution system water audits for all water systems under their management.  Submittal deadlines are October 1 each year for any Calendar Year water audits, and January 1 each year for any Fiscal Year water audits.  Individuals who successfully complete this class and pass the exam will receive a Water Audit Validator certificate.  The certificate will be valid for 3 years, and applicable for the AWWA Free Water Audit Software Version 6.

This webinar is July 12-14, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.  The exam will be given on July 15, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.
