Description:
This workshop will look at protecting public health: from source water protection to proper water treatment and then maintaining water quality in the distribution system.  The workshop will cover daily operations, best practices and basic regulations that relate to a water utility.  It will also cover contaminants of emerging concern, protecting the public from lead and copper in drinking water and how to reduce disinfection byproducts.
