Description:
Working on adopting the TNI 2016 Standard, Rev 2.1 under ELAP's TNI-2 requirements?  Have questions and need some helpful information?  This presentation will provide individual clause training with an emphasis on troublesome requirements noted in assessment and including practices suitable for a small laboratory.  Conducting internal assessment and corrective action plans will also be discussed.

     9:00 am - 10:00 am - Introduction, General QA/QC review of Standard.
     10:00 am - 11:00 am - PT requirements.
     11:00 am - 12:00 pm - Technical and Administrative requirements.
     12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - Lunch (on your own)
     1:00 pm - 2:00 pm - Specific requirements associated with chemical methods.
     2:00 pm - 3:00 pm - Specific requirements associated with microbiological methods.
     3:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Internal Assessments and responding to findings.

This workshop is 9:00 am - 4:00 pm on September 12.

Instructor: William (Bill) Ray

William (Bill) Ray has over 16 years' experience in both commercial and government laboratories, over 15 years' experience in data quality assessment, and over 20 years' experience in assessing laboratories.  HIs laboratory and assessment experiences include all chemistry and radiochemistry analyses.

He is currently the Owner/President of William Ray Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in technical and compliance assistance to the environmental laboratory community.  He has developed training tools; conducted training; laboratory assessment; and has helped in reviewing regulatory compliance form the laboratory perspective.  He is currently working on developing self-paced training programs for small laboratories.

WRC has provided training including: "TNI 2016 Standard and their Application in the Small Utility Laboratory"; "TNI required Data Integrity Training"; and "Adopting Laboratory Methods for the Field".
