Speaker Spotlight:
Lily Lopez serves as the Director of External Affairs & Sustainability at Walnut Valley Water District (WRD).  As a young Latina professional, Lily is committed to the development of meaningful connections with community members, industry professionals, and water enthusiasts.  Lily participated in the inaugural cohort of AWWA and the WaterNow Alliance's Transformative Water Leadership Academy (TWLA 2023).  She is Vice Chair of the California-Nevada AWWA Inclusion and Diversity Committee, recipient of the AWWA 5 Under 35 award, recipient of the California-Nevada AWWA 2023 Young Professional of the Year award, and a member of the section's Young Professionals Committee. 

Nicole Clark Reed serves as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Supervisor at the Water Replenishment District (WRD).  In this role, she leads initiatives aimed at fostering inclusivity and equity within the organization's workforce and culture.  She plays a pivotal role in shaping the District's strategy for promoting DEI values.

Refund Policy

Requests for refunds and transfers must be made in writing and are subject to the following conditions: Full refund of fee paid (minus 25% handling fee) will be issued for cancellations received more than 15 days prior to class start date. All fees are non-refundable thereafter. Transfers are based on availability. No transfer requests will be authorized if they are not received more than 15 days prior to class start date. A 100% refund or credit of your registration fee will be issued if a class is canceled by the Section.
