Description:
This webinar will look at how existing water sources can be expanded and how new water sources can be created.  With the advancement of water treatment technology, impaired water sources can now be treated.  In addition, wastewater can be treated for water reuse, ground water recharge or lake augmentation.  We will discuss how the Orange County Ground Water Recharge System turns secondary treated sewage into water that is used to recharge a ground water aquifer.  The process is recognized by the state of California as a fully advanced water treatment train.  Finally, we will look at variations on this theme and projects that are currently under construction or in the planning stages, and how technology is applied to assure proper treatment.

This webinar is 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm on September 29 and September 30.
