The California-Nevada Section is thrilled to co-sponsor the Partnership for Safe Water (PSW) 25th Anniversary Optimization Conference on July 27-29, 2021 devoted to the latest treatment plant and distribution system optimization methods.
Twenty-five years, hundreds of utilities and hundreds of millions served, the relentless protection of public health and pursuit of continuous improvement… “What started out twenty-five years ago as the Partnership for Safe Water Treatment Optimization Program has evolved into the Partnership Programs. It is a collection of continuous improvement resources developed ‘by utilities, for utilities’ to support water professionals in protecting the health of those they serve,” says Todd Brewer, Senior Manager of Partnership Programs, AWWA. “The Partnership for Safe Water Treatment Program, Partnership for Safe Water Distribution Program, and the Partnership for Clean Water are collectively, the Partnership Programs. Please join us in recognizing this milestone for the Partnership, twenty-five years, the best way we know how: comparing notes on the continuous improvement and optimization of water and wastewater systems. All in support of the protection of public health and the environment.”
"The technical program includes industry leaders, several from our Section, who were instrumental in launching the original Partnership program in 1995 and have continued to help other utilities optimize their performance to maximize public health protection," says Executive Director Sue Mosburg. "The conference is sure to provide insight and information sharing among those both experienced and new to the comprehensive self-assessment process."
