Cuyamaca College Center for Water Studies and The Water Conservation Garden
Monday, 4/3 2:15pm – 4:30pm
Participants on the tour will visit the Center for Water Studies, which is oldest & most comprehensive of the 21 water & wastewater technology programs offered by
California Community Colleges.
This tour is being sponsored by the Helix and Otay Water Districts.
Bus will pick up tour attendees from Town & Country Hotel at 1:30pm. Expect tour to last 2hrs, please bring comfortable walking shoes.

Miramar Water Treatment Plant
Tuesday, 4/4 9am – 11am
The Miramar Water Treatment Plant provides treated drinking water to an estimated 500,000 customers in the northern section of the city.
Located adjacent to Miramar Reservoir, the plant has a capacity of 144 million gallons of treated drinking water per day
Bus will pick up tour attendees from Town & Country Hotel at 8am. Expect tour to last 2hrs, please bring comfortable walking shoes.
Alvarado Water Treatment Plant
Wednesday, 4/5 9am – 11am
Located adjacent to Murray Reservoir, the Alvarado Water Treatment Plant provides treated drinking water to customers in the central section of the city.
Plant capacity is 120 million gallons of treated drinking water per day.
Bus will pick up tour attendees from Town & Country Hotel at 8am. Expect tour to last 2hrs, please bring comfortable walking shoes.
